The Retreat Room

Wow, what a special place to stay in Paradise, having visited Fiji a few times in the past the Villa Tinikatolu is the next level of luxury accommodation. A beautiful location with the beach only meters away. It was perfect for our group to just relax and enjoy a short break. All three bedrooms are separate and very private giving you your own space if required. The facilities are spacious and easily accommodate us, a beautiful swimming pool in a tropical setting, I cannot wait for my next holiday, a special thanks to Mere and Temeri who looked after our every need.

A beautiful villa with fantastic staff and the beach is at the end of the garden. Walking into Villa Tinikatolu was breathtaking. It is a big and extremely well appointed villa, very smart, neat and tastefully furnished. Open and spacious living areas, large comfortable bedrooms and plenty of good comfortable outdoor space. In the best possible way, the photos don't do it justice 🙂 We loved our time there. Seven nights of relaxation, great food (we booked the chef and he was amazing), family time like never before and just loads of fun. We kayaked, swam and paddle-boarded off the beach which is safe and the water very warm. Mere and Temeri are lovely people who cannot do enough for you, making the stay all the better. Katy, the owner, is incredibly helpful and responsive too. A couple of things - if you're a scuba diver (or want to learn), Coral Coast Divers are superb (see my review elsewhere) and only a few minutes away opposite the Pearl Resort. If not, please do some snorkelling because the corals and wildlife are absolutely stunning. We also went ziplining with Zip Fiji about 30 mins from the villa. Great fun. Not the longest course but the staff are terrific and took us round twice. The lines are very good and landscape is stunning - it's the only tree to tree zip course in Fiji, I am told. By the way, a useful benefit is that the villa is inside the Nanuku Resort meaning you can go to their restaurant and bar if you fancy a change of scenery. We could not fault the villa or anything about it. It's a long drive from Nadi airport but so, so worth it. For friends and family, it's a great place to put your feet up and enjoy the beauty, peace, and wonderful people of Fiji.

We were so lucky to have stumbled upon Katy’s amazing property for my son’s wedding. It was above all our expectations. We stayed 8 nights in this beautiful and comfortable home, with stunning designer landscaping and backyard that no one wanted to leave. The amazing beachfront setting, on a beautiful and peaceful stretch of beach with coral reef full of fish to the right of it, was perfect. The decor and landscaping really have the Wow factor. Three bedrooms are set apart from each other, with very comfortable beds, two in separate structures creating privacy, and the outdoor living area has comfortable and cosy seating areas, a beautiful large dining area, hot tub, and two hammocks. Paddleboards, kayak and snorkeling equipment were available. Katy arranged several fabulous meals with a private chef. House staff Mere and Temeri were amazing and set up the wedding event with beautiful Fijian decorations, trio of wonderful musicians, kava ceremony. I truly recommend staying in this home!

Planned my first overseas trip with my boyfriend to spend a couple weeks here and it was pure bliss, so accommodating for first time travellers like me, the house is beautiful!!! High pitched roof with open windows and a beautiful pool. The room we stayed in had windows we could open to the beach, the sound of the ocean singing me to sleep every night. The house itself is extremely clean and well kept. The staff are beautiful and friendly. On top of the house itself it’s a two minute walk to the restaurant and resort next door with a beautiful gym with all the equipment you could need. Overall the accommodation really made our stay something out of a dream. I highly recommend for all types of travellers and family’s as well. Couldn’t be happier!!

Our family of 8 had an amazing time at Villa Tinikatolu. Firstly, communication prior to the visit was excellent and informative. The villa itself is beautiful, clean, and the best location on an ideal, quiet, gorgeous beach. The pool was lovey and we loved having so many meals open air. Mere and Temeri make the villa so special with their personal care and assistance. They were great with our five children. We also used the massage option one day and really enjoyed that. The Wi-Fi was strong and consistent. We hired the private chef to make our meals and that turned out so well for us. We loved being able to relax at the villa until lunch/dinner and just eat there. So nice with our kids!

Absolutely fantastic in all respects! When we return Fiji, we will 100% stay at Villa Tinikatolu again. It's a gem, and Katy and the team at the villa couldn't be more gracious, thoughtful and kind hosts.
