I can’t say enough great things about this wonderful property! It’s even more beautiful than the pictures would suggest. The beach was private, the surrounding resort is gorgeous and everyone is so friendly. I also can’t say enough great things about Mere. She alone makes the stay there worth it. It is definitely a unique and wonderful experience, and we would highly recommend it.

Having just returned from an 8 night stay here, I figured now was the best moment to submit this review; while I’m still buzzing from the high! A stay at this villa will not disappoint. It’s more home than hotel, in only the best of ways. It starts with the embrace of the housekeeping team as you arrive; the warmth, life and love of Mere and Nukai feels genuine, not put on. They feel like family and will stop at nothing to make sure you’re happy, nourished and relaxed. The villa itself is clearly a labour of love; the hosts have fastidiously and meticulously maintained this villa it as if it were their own home. They’ve thought of everything; pillows are comfortable, wines are stunning, books and movies are thoughtful, homewares are gorgeous and playthings are abundant. It’s a truly warm, inviting and relaxing space and I’m already planning next year’s visit.

This villa made me feel like a pampered queen from the moment I arrived. It was raining when we got there, so we headed straight for the warm hot tub with a glass of bubbles, turned off all phones and music and listened to the sound of the heavy rain on the leaves. The tree surrounding the hot tub is home to Native orchids. One of my favourite moments each day was sitting on the pool lounger with a coffee in hand, watching the resident kingfisher (We called him Bob) hopping between branches. I just felt at peace.

Villa Tinikatolu would have to be the most relaxing and reenergising holidays I have ever had! The Villa itself is divine, the perfect idea of a luxury tropical paradise with a beautiful pool, gorgeous Fijian architecture, generous bedroom suites and covered walkways throughout. With the beach at your doorstep, you can hear gentle waves when you wake up or are enjoying sunset cocktails on the deck. For those wet Fijian days, there were plenty of media, activities, and covered areas to keep us all out of the weather and entertained. The villa staff, Mere and Temeri could not have been more welcoming and attentive - we got to eat delicious food and do amazing things like snorkelling offshore. Mere will look after you as though you were one of her family, serving delicious local fruit and the best scrambled eggs you’ve ever for breakfast. The visiting gourmet chef was also first class, with sumptuous multi course dinners to suit everyone. We were so sad to leave and will be going back as soon as possible! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

This is an absolute joy to be here together. Mere and Temere are both so very gracious and fun. We are blown away by our gourmet meals and have lived in the pool with an occasional break to play a game or read a book. No screen time needed yet for the children. Temeri brought out the paddle board which has provided hours of fun. We want you to know how appreciative we are of all the lovely details. Adam keeps walking around the grounds finding new plantings to admire. Everything is so thoughtfully and intentionally done. The time is flying by and we are loving each minute. We are adjusting nicely to being so pampered. Our 3 year old Ben summed it up yesterday when he swam to the end of the pool in his water wings and said. “This is like living in a dream!”
